Johnny Coleclough was born in Newton Heath, Manchester, UK
as a child his parents bought him an accordion which he taught himself to play,
he took this to Egypt in his national service, and later played with various
bands, orchestra's and his own trio, where he developed his ability further.

He was fortunate enough to have people like Rudi Mancini and Mantovani among his mentors.
He has been President of Stockport Accordion Club for some years and acknowledges many of the players
are technically better than himself, but his own style of music remains entertaining and enjoyed by many.
